Congress, which has yet to vote on a bill to fix Guam's war claims payments, will be one of the venues for this year's celebration of the 75th anniversary of Guam's liberation from Japanese occupation during World War II.

Del. Mike San Nicolas announced Tuesday the return of the annual Congressional Liberation gala festivities after a multiyear hiatus. This year's event will be hosted in the Capitol Botanic Garden on July 17.
