Press Release
Guam Delegate Michael San Nicolas is urging the Legislature to include language in the fiscal 2020 budget that protects health care appropriations.
San Nicolas wrote a letter to Speaker Tina Muña Barnes and Appropriations Chair Sen. Joe San Agustin urging the Legislature include a stop-gap measure to protect health care funding.
A release from his office states that Medically Indigent Program funding is facing dramatic cuts due to health care budget constraints, while Medicaid funding matching funds remain intact.
