U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Lujan rolled out the measure Tuesday on the 74th anniversary of the Trinity Test.
H.R. 1365, which seeks to make technical corrections to the Guam World War II Loyalty Recognition Act so that funds can finally be disbursed for Guam war claims, is set to go to a full House vote next week, Congressman Michael San Nicolas announced.
The war claims correction bill will be brought to the floor in the U.S. House of Representatives for a vote next week.
On Tuesday morning, Del. Michael San Nicolas said H.R. 1365 will be brought to the floor some time during the next House session, which is scheduled for next week. He could not say what day that would happen. "The calendar is still fluid," he said.
Cannabidiol, or CBD, products that the Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency confiscated will be released, Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said Friday.
Guam hasn't heard back from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to clarify issues related to CBDs, the governor said.
