At close of business on April 22, 2020, Congressman San Nicolas transmitted a FOIA to the Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT) seeking operational clarity on processing Economic Impact Payments (EIP)

If you are a bona fide resident of Guam, and you generally do not file an income tax return because your income was too low or you had no income that would require a tax filing (therefore, you did not file a return for either tax year 2018 or 2019), you MUST complete the Form EIP-NF provided by the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT). Those individuals receiving retirement and disability income from Social Security and the Veterans Administration, who are not generally required to file a return, should also complete this form for submission.

Federally funded pay increases for essential employees in discussion


Senate Democrats are floating proposals collectively referred to as the HEROES Act to pay essential employees across the country up to $13/hour on top of their regular pay, capped at a $25,000 salary increase to the end of 2020.
